ulini-bless na hizi mistari
na me sitachoka kukuchorea
in my heart
you'll forever be

thanks for your love and care
your benevolence,
siwezi rate

ulinibeba 9 months
na on the 10th month, uka-shed a tear
ukinileta kwa dunia
yote, bila compensation

baba,
alituacha at a time of need
(hope Almighty alimlaza pahali pema peponi)
but with your endurance
tuli-overcome the hurdles of life

struggles tuli-go through
God alizi-wipe out kama drops of tears

asiyefunzwa na mamaye,
hufunzwa na ulimwengu
lakini wewe mama ulini-teach ya the world
n' now i run the globe
forever, nita-remember your words
'never let the miles run faster than you'

kila day, every night
nasema prayer to the Lord
aku-keep fit
uone the works of your hands
kwani kila uchao,
my future brightens
